Philly's Famous Tattoo Alley
Most of us here at Sourpuss are, indeed tattooed. We appreciate and love the tattoo culture and especially where it all started. We took a trip to the famous intersection, 4th and South St where the line for Jim's cheesesteaks is long and the crowd is as diverse as it gets.
We started our shoot at The Original Philadelphia Eddies! Not to be confused with the others on the block or in the city. The walls are covered wall to wall with vintage flash and vintage photos.

Established in 1952, it's a piece of history, one of thee oldest tattoo shops on the east coast. Frank, who's called this shop home for over 20 years now is more than happy to share the history of the shop and all of the previous owners. We were honored to have shot in this little piece of Philadelphia history.
